mjlongo
Hello, I have users who are getting the following error every time they try to open the log file after composing: Could not view log file. Owning application or log file was not found. Can someone assist me with why we might be seeing this? Thanks!
Dan Korn
What versions of FusionPro and the operating system?
mjlongo
Sorry, I should have included that: We are on macs. Most are running the latest El Capitan. My own is running Sierra 10.12.6. FusionPro is VDP Creator 10.0.3. Thanks!
Dan Korn
On Mac, FusionPro opens the log file with the same application that the Finder uses to open it. So what you need to do is navigate to one of the .msg files in the Finder, right-click on it, select "Open With" and "Other...", then select whatever application you want (such as TextEdit). Make sure to check the "Always Open With" box in the "Choose Application" dialog before selecting the app. Once you do this, double-clicking a .msg file in the Finder should automatically open the file with the app you selected, and clicking the View Log button in the FusionPro app should do the same. mjlongo
That solution worked just fine. Thanks Dan!
