robertg
Using Fusion pro for numbering carbonless forms. Is there a method for sending the file to the xerox 700 that does not require such a long rip time? I am sure I am doing it wrong... Thanks, Neal
Dan Korn
What output format are you using for your FusionPro composition now? If it's PDF, then VIPP should be faster on the Xerox RIP.
robertg
Thanks for the reply. Yes, we are using PDF. VIPP? Not sure what that is.
Dan Korn
Thanks for the reply. Yes, we are using PDF. VIPP? Not sure what that is. VIPP (Variable-data Intelligent PostScript Printware) is Xerox's own PostScript-based VDP format which is optimized for its digital presses: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variable_Data_Intelligent_Postscript_Printware In the FusionPro Composition Settings dialog, select VIPP from the Output Format drop-down. Please refer to the FusionPro User Guide for more information.
ThePorge
Just make sure you flattened pdfs when using VIPP or you could run into problems with the Xerox rips and Transparent effects.
