Re: total a column of numbers with some complexity...

Can you attach at least a sample of the data file, so that the rule can be debugged? Also, what should the expected result be, and how is it different than the actual result?

Re: How to make array data global?

Well, I'm trying to guess at exactly what you're trying to accomplish here, but, while Thomas's advice is not wrong, it could be that you only want to create this array once per job, in which case...

Re: Dynamic Flow Chart

Can you define more specifically what values will be entered and exactly how the graphics will be adjusted accordingly?

Do you mean that the user will enter X and Y values that denote the position...

Re: Sequential Numbering with gaps

Something like this:
var nums = [];
var num = 0;
for (var i = 1; i <= 5000; i++)
{
num++;
if (num % 50 > 40)
num += 9;

nums.push(num);

Re: Two data sources

Yes, the one with the names and addresses and foreign key is your main data source for the job, and the second table with the variable information is what we call an External Data File, or XDF. This...

Re: Change Color In PDF Resource Rule

The "change color in PDF" feature works only for shapes in the PDF, in process colors. It does not work for text, or gradients, or graphic objects, nor does it work for spot colors.

It's possible...

Re: ADA Compliance

No, sorry, let me clarify. If you chunk the output to one record per file, then tags will be retained. It's only in the case where an output file has more than one record of data that tags are not...

Re: line spacing with inline graphics

I do see the very tiny bit of "creeping" or "growth" or "crawl" you're talking about when I zoom way in on your PDF, probably due to a slight rounding issue. However, if you really do have a "quite...

Re: Datamatrix Imposition Sheet Count

Thanks for making a new thread, and for posting the job.

First, let me reiterate that the issue doesn't really have anything to do with the Data Matrix barcode. It's simply an issue with getting...

Re: 2D DataMatrix Barcode

Okay... I'm not sure if you're saying that's an issue. If you're using a one-up imposition, then I would expect that the sheet number would match the record number. If not, well, then, it depends...

Re: 2D DataMatrix Barcode

You need to do these things:

Check the "Re-evaluate this rule for every text flow" box.
Compose with imposition enabled (not just click Validate in the Rule Editor).

Also, are you sure...

Re: 2D DataMatrix Barcode

Sure, use FusionPro.Composition.impositionSheetNumber. See:

I imagine you'll also probably want to use the custom imposition sheet...

Re: Change Color In PDF Resource Rule

No, it cannot currently be used with inline graphics.

You could create a repeatable component with a graphic frame, insert the PDF into that, then insert the repeatable component into your text.

Re: Change Color In PDF Resource Rule

I entered an enhancement request for that: FP-305.

In the meantime, I was able to get named colors working like so:
var Pic = CreateResource(Field("File"));
var color = Color(Field("Color"));...

Re: Change Color In PDF Resource Rule

The problem is that you're specifying color names such as Green and Blue for the replacement color.

Both the "Color value to change" and the "Field or rule for the new color" parameters expect an...

Re: Use first row of certain data cells when next row is empty

I'm assuming you want an entirely separate output record (i.e. different pages) for each person.

So, do you want the exact same agenda for each person? If Yes, then I would put the agenda and the...

Re: Javascript N00B trying to figure out error in table creation

You're creating a table with three columns:
myTable.AddColumns(9293, 9293, 9293);
Then you're trying to copy the cell from the first column (0) to the second, third, and fourth columns (1, 2, and...
