  1. Dan, any chance you can take a look at the sample PDF I uploaded???
  2. Here is an example attached of a PDF page that is used as a background image. When I simply open it and print to the Color Printer it looks just like it does on screen...text is thin and sharp and the colors are mostly gray, black and red. When I make it a background in FP and merge data and print to the same printer thru postscript, the text is thick and dark and the graphics are darker and have more magenta(blue) in them???Cover_Letter_MoneyNetwork_check_Fulfill_04082016_updated.pdf
  3. I have several PDF pages acting as backgrounds and when I print these from Acrobat they look correct. When I print them as part of a FusionPro template to Postscript on the same printer the color is much darker and off. How do I get them to match?
  4. We just upgraded to 10.0.16 and have noticed PDF text coming out darker when printed then under Version9.? Has the Postscript generator changed in between versions?
  5. You were correct. I restarted the setup and when it asked if I wanted to rotate the pages I said yes and now it composes fine. However, it is difficult to work with because the pages are rotated 90 degrees. Can I rotate them now within Acrobat and not have issues when I compose or do I need to rotate them back before composing?
  6. Posting of PDF, Def, Dif for the same problem on a job that is 11X17 finish side printed on 12X18 and trimmed. Same kind of cutoff after composing. Thanks Cant get the .dif to load...exceeds size allowed Updated Newsletter Spring 2015.def Updated Newsletter Spring 2015.pdf
  7. I open a 4 X 6 2 page PDF that is to become a duplexed postcard. I then go thru the input wizard to define the delimited text file with names and addresses as input. So far the PDF on screen looks perfectly fine. I then say Compose and the left side of the output PDF has part of the image truncated off. For some reason the Compose function is chopping of the pdf page???
  8. I have a multipage document based on an order which includes the number of sheets. I am using overflow pages off a template to create the additional output pages. In order to include a 2D barcode(DataMatrix) on each output sheet for my inserting equipment I need to know the Page Number I am currently about to create so I can include Page Number and whether of not it is the end of the order in the barcode. How do I access the current output page?
  9. I ended up uninstalling Acrobat Pro XI and Fusion Pro then reinstalling and still had the issue both on my Tablet and a regular Desktop. I then uninstalled both again, installed Acrobat Pro X and FusionPro and everything is now good in both installs. Perhaps something with Acrobat Pro XI???
  10. Both text and graphic frames are affected. The reset all did not have any affect. See attached screen shot.
  11. I have frame property boxes(when you double click on the frame) that have attributes at the bottom that only partially show and it does not allow me to expand the box to fully see the attributes? Is there a setting somewhere I am missing. I am developing on a Surface Pro 3 tablet.
  12. I am getting an unusual message I cannot find anywhere. I have setup and overflow page(#4) and referenced it on a text frame on page 3. have a repeatable template that I am filling and if I return it once everything looks good on Page 3 and 4 is unused(No overflow). I then change my rules to return a string that has been loded with 2 pages of Repeateble Template and I get: Master Page " CheckPageFrontOverflow" used for inserted page should have a master flow/story". What exactly is a Master Flow/Story and how do I create it?
  13. Thanks...most programming languages I use don't care about the case.
  14. I am trying to follow the documentation pages 132-137 on creating a repeatable component from a template and my code in the rules is: var checktemplate = new FPRepeatableComponent('CheckFrontTemplate'); checktemplate.Addgraphic("CheckPageBackground:", "c:\\outlook\\JPB\\M-105232 META CA CHECK 1446199_85x11 1.pdf"); checktemplate.AddTextVar("Check1FrontSeqDig","999999999 9"); checktemplate.AddTextVar("Check2FrontSeqDig","888888888 9"); checktemplate.AddTextVar("Check3FrontSeqDig","777777777 9"); return checktemplate; When I validate I get checktemplate.addgraphic is not a valid function. It appears I am duplicating the code correctly but the variable checktemplate is not being properly created/initialized?
