  1. I have a fillable pdf that has personalization on it. Does the fillable part stay when added to MarcomCentral? Currently only using the personalized fillable pdf locally and manually creating the output file but want to add it to our web-to-print system. FusionPro 12.2.2 on a Mac. Thanks Chris
  2. Hello, I am working with a fillable pdf withpersonalization in FusioPro 12. Everything is working after composing except for the radio buttons. When you click yes then no is checked. I have only attached a portion of the booklet. Any suggestions? Thanks Chris 477 Fillable and Personalized 6-30-21-Output2.pdf
  3. I am also looking for a dutch cut feature in the FPI files. Is there a way to do that yet?
  4. Hi there, Is this new version of FusionPro VDP Creator 10.0 compatible with Adobe CC 2017? Thanks Chris
  5. Hi there, We have Adobe CC 2017 and was wondering if the newest version of FusionPro is compatible with it? Thanks Chris
  6. Hi there, We are working with a letter that has multiple body text resources. Some of the body text resources are shorter that the others. When there is a shorter body text resource, I need the signature to move up with the text. Is this even possible??? I see that the box that has the text doesn't change in size in accordance with the content of the text. I think that is where my problems begins. We are using a MAC with FusionPro 9 something... Thanks Chris
  7. I think I have narrowed it down to the job itself. I have opened a completely different job and everything composed fine with an FPI file. The error was only happening when I applied an fpi file before composing. I am going back to the original Indesign job too see if it is coming from my bleed settings. Thank you for the help.
  8. Here is a screen shot of the Composition settings of the Compose Tab. I don't have that checked. My thinking is that there is a disconnect between FusionPro and the Imposer but I don't know much more than that. I have created new fpi files using different settings and it keeps shutting down FusionPro. When no fpi is selected it composes fine. Thank You, Chris Screen Shot 2015-03-02 at 9.58.14 AM.pdf
  9. Hi there, Last Friday I started having problems with composing a job when I select any FPI file. When I compose it a looks like it is working and then it crashes. I have attached a screen shot of the FusionPro crash. If I don't use an FPI file then it composes without crashing. When I was looking around I saw something called FusionPro Direct Monitor. When I opened it it gave me error messages. I am attaching screen shots of those errors. I'm not sure of that is related to my problem. I have reinstalled FusionPro. Earlier last week everything was working fine. I don't know of anything that had changed. I had created a completely new file and still the error keeps coming up. We are using MAC's and we are up to date on FusionPro software. We are using Indesign. I will take any help I can get. If there is anything else I can provide please let me know.   11. Here is the rule I am trying to get to work. var firstNameInitial = Field("FirstName"); var middleNameInitial = Field("MiddleInitial"); if (Field("FirstName").length == 1 && Field("FirstName") != ".") { firstNameInitial = Field("FirstName")+"."; } if (Field("MiddleInitial").length == 1 && Field("MiddleInitial") != ".") { middleNameInitial = Field("MiddleInitial")+"."; } var s = ""; if (Field("Middle") == "Yes") { if (Field("ChooseFirstName") == "First Name") { s = AppendText(s, "", firstNameInitial); s = AppendText(s, " ", middleNameInitial); s = AppendText(s, " ", Field("LastName")); s = AppendText(s, ", ", Field("Suffix")); s = AppendText(s, ", ", Field("Designation")); } else if (Field("ChooseFirstName") == "Nickname") { s = AppendText(s, "", Field("NickName")); s = AppendText(s, " ", Field("LastName")); s = AppendText(s, ", ", Field("Suffix")); s = AppendText(s, ", ", Field("Designation")); } } else if (Field("Middle") == "No") { if (Field("ChooseFirstName") == "First Name") { s = AppendText(s, "", firstNameInitial); s = AppendText(s, " ", Field("LastName")); s = AppendText(s, ", ", Field("Suffix")); s = AppendText(s, ", ", Field("Designation")); } else { s = AppendText(s, "", Field("NickName")); s = AppendText(s, " ", Field("LastName")); s = AppendText(s, ", ", Field("Suffix")); s = AppendText(s, ", ", Field("Designation")); } } return s;
  12. Here is a pdf of the rule we have. The names I used for an example are fake. We have Agents that will be ordering items from our web-to-print system and can choose what combination of their names they want. Some of the agents have an initial for their first name and some have a middle initial only. When they place their order this rule is supposed to add the period when there is that initial. This rule as is returns nothing, no matter what is selected by the person ordering. I think the problem is in line 19, 20 & 40, but I don't know what it needs to be to work. Hope this makes sense. 13. Hi there, We are needing to add a period if a first name or middle name is an initial only. For example: W Kenny Massey should be W. Kenny Massey Or Christine M Mostaert should be Christine M. Mostaert We have a rule that I think has a few things missing on line 19, 20, and 40. I am attaching a screen shot of the rule. I hope it is readable. Any help would be appreciated. Chris
  14. Here is the job I'm working on. The 8 pages I was talking about turns into 2 four page sigs which ends up being a stitched booklet. Body 1 and Body 2 (1 sheet printed 2 sides) is on stock A and Body 3 and Body 4 (1 sheet printed 2 sides with two variable boxes with the same number printing) is printing on stock B. I have used the page usage to assign the specific information needed for each sig. Maybe I'm thinking this is harder that it actually is. Chris TEST XEROX 2 STOCKS F2505.zip
